Prestigious clubs like Cream, Hacienda and The Limelight London were known for powerful sound systems that shaped the dance music culture of the 90s. We honed our skills installing these AV systems, providing each club with a signature sound and immersive atmosphere. More recently, nationwide venues such as Liquid & Envy, Oceanas and PRYZM.
High-fidelity sound. A clear midrange. Crisp highs. And the all-important subwoofers that deliver a deep, resonant bass. The UK’s top clubs trust us to deliver a pristine, punchy sound.
Every venue has unique AV needs. Working with the Client and/or their designers, we always take time to understand the club’s layout (for ex location of DJ or stage) and requirements and create a system based on our vast knowledge of leading-edge audio products.
The heart of any nightclub is the main dance floor, where high-energy sound is a must-have. Second or third rooms need the same sound quality, with systems proportionate to the space and people. While VIP areas demand premium systems to provide an exclusive audio experience and personalised, balanced sound.
CVA also designs the main lighting rig to create the ideal atmosphere for each room. The lighting system needs to complement the sound system, as well as cater for live acts and dance floor spaces.
Using products such as Chauvet Maverick, Ovation or Colorado fittings, CVA perfectly blends different effects. Tailormade video walls are also a very effective solution for nightclubs for maximum visual impact and advertising for drinks or events.
CVA always works sensitively with the building. For example, PRYZM Kingston’s main room is listed, so careful design and planning were required. We provided a sound solution that protected the integrity of the building, using our product knowledge, bespoke brackets and hardware.
Whether there’s a dedicated DJ booth, a stage, or an input point for artists, we design the sound and light system to make it simple for the club’s team to select the required input.
Sound systems for bars, cafés and restaurants require bespoke solutions. Depending on the time of day and type of customer, they may expect different genres and levels of music volume.
During the day, music may be quieter and sourced from a phone or tablet. But to achieve a quality sound across the entire space, you’ll need more specifically located speakers to obtain the required levels and coverage.
Getting the choice and positioning of speakers right is vital. No one wants blasting music when they’re catching up over brunch, but evening diners may be happy with a louder, upbeat vibe.
